In A Nutshell: The best thing about The Palm Tree Heritage is that it is located in a lovely area to the north of the busy Varkala Cliffs. Most of the hotels on top of the cliff do not have easy beach access.

Tips: The lovely cliff top path at the top of the Varkala Cliffs are just a short walk away with lots of bars and seafood restaurants offering a splendid choice of cuisines.

Palm Tree Heritage

Palm Tree Heritage, managed by a Swedish couple is a great place to be in to explore the land of cliffs, the palms and the shadow play of culture and history along the coasts of Varkala. The caressing sea breeze and the verdant greenery would set an inspiring backdrop to ensure a relaxed stay.

Rooms

The tastefully done up Sea Front Rooms with rich wooden panelling and symmetrical Venezuelan glass work ensure ample privacy and luxury alike. The private veranda with old fashioned wooden railings add up to the charm of the rooms.

Fine Dining

• The hotel's own restaurant is a sea facing beach shack which offers an amazing combination of local sea food cuisine as well as continental dishes (such as Spaghetti Bolognaise and garlic and ginger grilled fish). The cold coffee and cocktails are recommended as well.

You can also eat good and healthy food at many small restaurants nearby and on the cliff walk. With the beach only a few blocks away, you are never far from outdoor fun. There is an impressive line up of many other leisure activities as well including elephant rides, and catamaran cruises.
